The contemporary art workgroup Curatoría Forense travels to Europe to diffuse the activities produced since 2005, which were possible due to the creation of affective and effective relationships with more than 170 contemporary art cultural agents, autonomous spaces and institutions of eight Latin American countries.
Curatoría Forense will also present the nine editions of the summer camp contemporary art residencies and the network Contemporary Art Autonomous Management – Latin America and the work of its 38 associated members.
For a month and a half, Jorge Sepúlveda T. (Independent Curator) and Ilze Petroni (Contemporary Art Researcher) -both coordinators of Curatoría Forense- will meet with cultural managers and artists from Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Switzerland and The Netherlands so as to share experiences and perspectives about contemporary art and autonomous management methodologies.
This tour aims to expand and consolidate the network and to promote the generation of thought, knowledge and interaction, focusing on the triangulation of contemporary art and debate with the community.
In addition, a critical visit to Manifesta 9 – The European Biennal of Contemporary Art and dOCUMENTA (13) have been planned.
